Spray tower
The spray tower employs a gas–liquid contact scrubbing process, which can effectively remove particulate matter and certain water-soluble pollutants such as acids and alkalis from exhaust gases, and is widely used in industrial flue-gas purification.
Inquire About This ProductConfiguration
- Exhaust gases (containing dust, sulfur, acids, alkalis, VOCs, etc.) are treated in a packed‑bed scrubber using a counter‑current gas–liquid absorption process: the liquid is sprayed downward from the top of the tower in the form of a mist or small droplets, while the exhaust gas flows upward from the bottom, achieving intimate gas–liquid contact. This treatment method cools the gas temperature, conditions the gas stream, and removes particulates; the effluent then passes through a demister section before being discharged into the atmosphere. The absorbent solution is pumped to the top of the tower under pressure and sprayed downward, after which it returns to the bottom of the tower for recirculation.
