Configuration

• After thorough mixing with the added flocculant, the sludge enters the gravity dewatering zone of the belt filter press, where it loses a significant amount of water under its own weight. The gravity zone is equipped with a sludge distribution device that evenly spreads the sludge across the filter belt, after which it moves into the wedge‑shaped squeeze section between the upper and lower mesh belts for preliminary compression and removal of free water, before finally entering the pressing zone to form a sludge cake. This equipment is suitable for sludge dewatering in a wide range of industries, including water supply, wastewater treatment, papermaking, casting, leather processing, textile manufacturing, chemical engineering, and food processing.
